Lightbound 3D was brought in to capture a series of builder model homes in Aurora, ON as part of a new residential development. The builder needed a way to showcase their floor plans and finishes to prospective buyers online, allowing them to explore each model home virtually before committing to an in-person visit.
Project Scope
Our team captured multiple model homes ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 square feet using Matterport Pro3 scanning and professional photography. Each home was scanned in full to produce an interactive 3D walkthrough, along with detailed floor plans and high-resolution photos of key living spaces, kitchens, ensuites, and exterior finishes.
The Challenge
Model homes are designed to sell a lifestyle — every finish, sightline, and layout choice is intentional. Capturing that experience digitally requires more than just wide-angle photos. The 3D tours needed to replicate the feeling of walking through each home, giving buyers a true sense of space, flow, and scale that static images can't deliver.
