Lightbound 3D was engaged to create an immersive 3D digital twin of a 30,000 square foot commercial warehouse facility in Mississauga, ON. The two-storey building serves as a wholesale distribution centre, and the client needed a way to bring their product showroom online without sacrificing the in-person browsing experience.
Project Scope
Our team captured both floors of the facility using Matterport Pro3 scanning technology, producing a complete, navigable 3D model of the space. The scan covered product display areas, aisle layouts, and key operational zones across the full 30,000 SF footprint.
The Challenge
Wholesale environments are visually complex — high shelving, dense product displays, and variable lighting across large open floor plates. Capturing a space of this scale with consistent quality required careful scan placement and overlap planning to ensure every aisle and display area was fully represented in the final model.

The completed digital twin gives the client's customers two ways to shop. Online buyers can walk through the facility virtually, browsing products and layouts from any device. Onsite visitors benefit from an optimized floor plan informed by spatial data captured during the scan.
